John Hight: Super WoTLK Classic Gold exciting. We have members on the World of Warcraft team that have been in the game from the very beginning. That in itself is awesome since not many people can say they worked on an online game for 13 14 and, in a few instances, even 20 years. It is fortunate that some of those are in key engineering areas that are super useful in revealing what the difference is in the database and how the game was played back in the day.
What was the date when it was decided to work on this?
This has been an ongoing internal discussion. I'm sure it has been going on over the years, don't you think? However, last year it reached the point of exhaustion, and we really had a lot of internal discussions since we're trying to make sure that we provide a great experience for our players. The main thing we were concerned about was gonna be our ability to carry out Blizzard quality for so many years. We don't want to ruin the experience. It has to be an authentic experience. But at the same time the people don't want any or the snarky bugs were in the past.
Are you in any way working with teams trying to create their own servers with classic features or is this an independent project?
No, this is all internal. As I said, we're lucky that many of the those who were part of the initial WoW are on the team right now and are thrilled. We've even set up another, distinct sub- Steam part of our World of Warcraft team to focus just on this so that we don't use resources in a shared way. That's been the challenge for us: there's lots of amazing things we can do in WoW. Do we go back and implement this, or bring this new feature to World of Warcraft ? And that was the big choice for us. We decided to form a special team to handle it. Everyone who's interested, we'll cheap WoTLK Gold let them volunteer or apply or get on the team. And we'll protect that in order to ensure that they're successful.
